“If only 7 percent of the 2 billion Christians in the world would care for a single orphan in distress, there would effectively be no more orphans.”

we were on the list of waiting families for just 1 month when another agency contacted us and needed a home for Holden. it wasn't how we imagined the process would go - it was super fast and honestly life couldn't be happier now. i love to see pictures of your steven! he is a CUTIE!

I know....that quote really makes a person think. We are certainly considering adoption NOW because of secondary infertility, but truth be told, we talked about it even when we were dating....though we always thought it would be a baby from overseas. I have always been struck by the babies in the Romanian orphanage we went in. Remember that day? I know Romania is closed to adoption now, but I think that's the first time I ever really considered it. I never though we'd be doing US adoption, though now I couldn't be more excited....who knows. Maybe someday I'[ll get my Romanian baby too :)

This one shocks me everytime. I placed this on my blog a while back and I got some really weird responses from angry adoptees so now I screne my comments. When I write about adoption on my blog for some reason these people I have no idea who they are comment. Anyway, it is the reality of it. Makes you really think and humbles me everytime. Take care!
