Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. ~James 1:27
Becca, I wanted to say thank you for your encouraging words, they meant a lot to me. I'll tell you the same thing that I told my sister. I do think your adoption is so wonderful and a realy gift from the Lord. And I feel the same about my sister's. I am not against adoption. I just don't think we are at that point in our lives. We want to give it a lot longer trying on our own. I have not been told that I cannot have a baby. So, we would like to give God a little more time to work his plan if that might be what it is. But I thank you so much! Do you know how I can find and purchase that book? -Rachel O.
We are just an ordinary family serving an extraordinary God, and He has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams. We are high school sweethearts who have been married for eleven years. We adopted our son, Steven, born November 2007 and his biological sister, Michelle, born December 2008 and then added a biological baby, Mabelyn, in March 2011. We also have two critters--Sadie, our Golden Retriever, and Josie, our grey cat.
